A British man was arrested in Palm Springs on Tuesday after authorities said he and his girlfriend, a US citizen, were involved in an intimate affair, authorities said. The man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was arrested after his arrest in a Nevada federal jail on suspicion of having a sex with a married woman.
The couple, who are married, have been together for more than a year.
The suspect, who was not named, was held in Palm Springs and charged with first-degree rape and criminal sexual contact, according to a statement issued by the Palm Springs Sheriff’s Department.
“The nature and circumstances of this charge, as well as the related charges, make it impossible to determine the guilt or responsibility for the sexual relationship. We believe the defendant, who is under investigation by the U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), may be responsible,” the statement said.
The statement added that the man, who is a US citizen, had been in possession of more than $20,000 worth of Viagra, Cialis and other erectile dysfunction drugs over a period of several months. He had not been prescribed the drugs, it said.
The statement said the man was arrested on a warrant for Palm Springs by a federal court warrant. It added that he was advised by U. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations, the U. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigations and the U. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigations.
An HSI agent said the man was booked into the Palm Springs County jail, where he is awaiting a probable overdose. He is being held in jail pending an HSI charge of first-degree rape and criminal sexual contact.
In addition to being a U. citizen, the suspect was arrested on March 14 on suspicion of having sexual contact with a married woman. The suspect, who is not named, was booked into the Palm Springs County jail and taken into custody.

“We are very happy to announce that this case has been cleared up and we will continue to monitor and investigate all possible aspects of this case, including our investigation into this defendant’s affairs,” said HSI Special Agent in Charge Sean McKeown.
He was previously a staff director at the San Diego Sexual Medicine Clinic, which runs the Nurx, and has been a consultant to Nurx’s other services, including Nurx.
In a statement, Nurx said: “I am very pleased to report that our patient, who was previously a patient of Nurx’s staff and a member of the Nurx team, is now being charged with first-degree rape. He has been previously diagnosed with erectile dysfunction. His criminal sexual contact with a married woman is also a felony. We believe that this case is being investigated with a high level of caution.”In addition to being a staff member, Nurx said that the man was booked into the Palm Springs County jail, where he is awaiting a probable overdose.
“We are extremely fortunate that this case has been cleared up,” McKeown said.
The statement said the man is scheduled for arraignment on March 15 in Las Vegas federal court. He will face possible charges of first-degree rape, criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual contact in connection with his case.
In a statement, Nurx said: “This is the first time we have had this incident in custody in the Palm Springs prison where we have not been involved in this matter, but we are thankful that we were able to bring this case to the attention of the U.
